iClimate Annual Workshop 2024

Last week we had the pleasure of hosting the iClimate Annual Workshop 2024 at Eigtved Pakhus in Copenhagen. It was an incredible event filled with thought-provoking discussions, inspiring presentations, and meaningful networking opportunities.

Our program was packed with diverse sessions highlighting interdisciplinary research and the future of climate research and challenges. A special thank you goes to our external speakers, who traveled from other institutions to share their expertise:

  • Adrian Lema (NCKF, DMI): “About NCKF/National Center for Climate Research”
  • Mark Payne (NCKF, DMI): “Highlights from NCKF research”
  • Sebastian Mernild & Charlotte Autzen (Climate Cluster, SDU): “Framework, structure, and projects”

Their contributions enriched our understanding and fostered valuable discussions among participants.

The workshop also featured insightful breakout sessions, interactive workshops on outreach and planning for Klimafolkemødet 2025, and inspiring poster presentations from iClimate members showcasing their research.

Thank you to everyone who contributed to making this event a success—speakers, poster presenters, organizers, and attendees. Your energy and dedication to advancing climate solutions are truly inspiring!

Stay tuned for more updates on the ideas and collaborations sparked during these two days. Together, we can make a meaningful impact on the climate challenges we face.
