Dr. Aliakbar Kamari is an architect, engineer, scientist, and educator. He is an Associate Professor (tenured) of Building Science at the Department of Civil and Architectural Engineering, Aarhus University, Denmark. Aliakbar's research rigorously examines diverse and innovative methodologies designed to effectively facilitate and accelerate the integration of Green and Digital transformation in the building sector, underscoring the critical synergy between sustainability and technological advancement. His research spans three major areas: Sustainability and Life-cycle Assessment (LCA); Integrated (Digital) Design Process and Project (IDP/IDD); and Building Information Modelling (BIM).
